The Vision Behind the Work

Build a Nonprofit Designed for Lasting Impact.

A nonprofit should be built to do more than simply exist. It should be structured with purpose, positioned to serve, and designed to create impact that can continue for generations.

In this Supernatural Money Monday conversation, Dr. Patience Dean shares the vision behind creating a perpetually impactful nonprofit — including Kingdom purpose, community impact, stewardship, and financial sustainability.

Ready to Build Yours?

Your transformation

You bring the vision. We help you build the foundation.

You’ve been carrying the vision to create something that makes a difference.

Maybe you’ve wanted to start a foundation, serve your community, develop charitable programs, or build an organization that creates a lasting impact.

But putting everything together can feel overwhelming.

The paperwork. The strategy. The programs. The website. The legal structure. The IRS application.

What if you could work through all of that in one powerful weekend?

That’s exactly what The Nonprofit Launch Weekend™ is designed to help you accomplish.

Before the weekend

  • An idea you’ve been trying to launch
  • Questions about forming your nonprofit
  • No complete organizational strategy
  • Unfinished planning documents
  • Programs still in the idea stage
  • No professional nonprofit website
  • Uncertainty about filing requirements

After the weekend

  • A defined nonprofit name and mission
  • Organization and formation documents prepared
  • 13 strategic planning documents
  • Up to three charitable programs developed
  • Program logic models and implementation plans
  • Professional branding and a nonprofit website
  • Applicable filing steps completed or prepared
  • A clear 90-day action plan

State processing, trust requirements, EIN availability, and IRS approval are subject to the applicable agencies and legal requirements. Government approval is not guaranteed.

What you’ll build

This Is What Three Days of Implementation Can Look Like

01

Your Foundation

Establish your nonprofit identity, mission, vision, and organizational direction.

02

Your Strategic Blueprint

Generate 13 essential planning documents using our proprietary GE software.

03

Your Charitable Programs

Develop up to three charitable programs, complete with logic models and implementation plans.

04

Your Formation Documents

Work through applicable state formation requirements, organizational documentation, and trust preparation where appropriate.

05

Your Brand & Website

Develop your nonprofit’s logo, brand identity, and professional website.

06

Your Tax-Exempt Application

Prepare the appropriate Form 1023-EZ or full Form 1023 pathway and complete eligible submissions.

Website & IRS pathway details

The website package includes a professionally designed template with Home, About Us, Mission & Vision, Our Programs, Get Involved, Contact, and a donation-ready page — one initial brand concept and a clearly scoped website package. Domain registration, third-party service charges, and specialized customization may be separate.

Scheduled appointments with an appropriately authorized notary are available where required. Notarization is subject to applicable jurisdictional requirements.

1023-EZ eligible organizations: guided preparation and submission where all IRS eligibility and formation requirements have been satisfied. Full Form 1023 organizations: guided preparation, document organization, financial information, and activity narratives; complex applications may require additional professional review and an extended filing process.

IRS approval is not immediate or guaranteed and is separate from application submission. Where state agencies or IRS systems cannot complete a step during the weekend, it remains pending follow-up — not falsely marked completed.

Learn more about additional costs

IRS user fees are paid directly through Pay.gov when submitting the application. Each state establishes its own nonprofit formation fees; you’ll be informed of the applicable fee before submitting documents.

Trust notarization fees vary by notary, jurisdiction, number of signatures, and whether notarization is in person or remote. Website platform subscriptions are paid directly to the provider and may recur until canceled. Premium domains and renewals may cost more. There is no IRS fee to obtain an EIN directly from the IRS.

Participants should have funds available for the applicable expenses during the event. These costs are also disclosed and acknowledged during registration and in the participation agreement.

You’ve Already Built the Front Door.

Now decide how much infrastructure you want behind it.

The Nonprofit Launch Weekend™ gives us the opportunity to build with you first. By the time the weekend is complete, you have already experienced our process, our technology, and the quality of the work we can create together. If you want to continue, we can take what we have already built and expand it into the digital infrastructure your organization needs to operate and grow.

After the Weekend

Your Nonprofit Is Launched. Now Build the Infrastructure Behind It.

By the end of The Nonprofit Launch Weekend™, you have more than an idea. You have begun building the public-facing foundation of your organization, including the structure, strategy, documents, and digital presence needed to move forward.

How will you manage everything once the nonprofit begins to grow?

For organizations that want additional support, we offer three optional ways to continue — from a ready-made nonprofit growth platform to a fully customized operating system built specifically around the way your organization works.

Self-Service

Nonprofit Growth Hub™

$99/month

Everything you need to keep building after the weekend.

The Nonprofit Growth Hub™ is a standalone nonprofit management and implementation platform for founders who want ongoing access to tools, templates, planning resources, and AI-powered support after The Nonprofit Launch Weekend. It is a separate application and is not part of the Generals Equipped platform.

  • Grant research and discovery
  • Grant proposal preparation tools
  • Nonprofit program development
  • Logic model development
  • Program budgets
  • Operational planning
  • Strategic planning and updates
  • Impact reporting
  • Organizational document management
  • AI-assisted nonprofit implementation tools
  • Access to nonprofit AI agents
  • Ongoing planning and development resources

Retain downloadable copies of your completed event documents even if you choose not to subscribe.

Custom Back Office

Nonprofit Command Center™

Starting at $15,000

+ $497/month platform management

We build the back office behind the nonprofit you just launched.

You have already built the public-facing foundation of your nonprofit with us. Now we can build a private administrative command center directly behind your website, customized around the actual programs and operations of your organization. This is not a generic dashboard. We design the back office around how that specific nonprofit operates.

  • Program management
  • Donor and sponsor CRM
  • Volunteer management
  • Event management
  • Board and leadership records
  • Document vault
  • Budget and financial tracking
  • Impact reporting
  • Internal task management
  • Communications management
  • Organization-specific dashboards
  • Custom data tracking
  • Staff access and permissions
  • Forms and internal workflows
  • Operational reporting

Built Around Your Actual Mission

For example, a nonprofit operating a homeless feeding initiative may need a back office that manages:

  • volunteers
  • food contributions
  • who is bringing specific items
  • event logistics
  • participant registration
  • meal-distribution tickets
  • line/queue management
  • donor records
  • sponsor information
  • reporting

Another nonprofit may need a completely different system. We build the Command Center around the organization — not the other way around.

Full Digital Infrastructure

Nonprofit Operating System™

Starting at $30,000

+ $997/month platform & AI management

More than a back office. A system designed to help run the organization.

The Nonprofit Operating System™ begins with everything included in the custom Command Center and expands it into a more sophisticated digital infrastructure for organizations with complex operations.

  • Custom Nonprofit Command Center
  • Custom workflows
  • Automated processes
  • Role-based portals
  • Volunteer portals
  • Donor or sponsor portals
  • Beneficiary/client portals
  • Internal team portals
  • Database architecture
  • Automated email and SMS workflows
  • Intake and application systems
  • CRM automation
  • Scheduling systems
  • Event workflows
  • Integrations with third-party systems
  • Custom dashboards
  • Advanced reporting
  • AI workforce
  • AI-powered operational support
  • Organization-specific automations

AI Workforce

The Operating System can include AI agents configured around the nonprofit’s actual needs — part of your organization’s broader technology infrastructure, not generic chatbots. Examples may include:

  • Executive Assistant AI
  • Social Media AI
  • SEO / Blog Writer AI
  • Donor & Sponsor Outreach AI
  • Administrative / Legal Support AI
  • Reception / Inquiry AI

Complex organizations, multi-program nonprofits, national organizations, and projects requiring advanced integrations may require a custom enterprise proposal.

Your Questions, Answered

Event & Attendance

Can I attend virtually?

Yes. The Nonprofit Launch Weekend is a hybrid event. Participants can join in person or live virtually and participate in the guided implementation sessions.

Do I need to have an existing nonprofit?

No. This experience is designed primarily for people who want to launch a nonprofit, but applicants with an existing organization may also be eligible.

Can I attend with my business partner or another foundation team member?

You may request additional participant access from our team. Multiple full registrations are not included in the base price.

Request Additional Participant Access

Formation & IRS Filings

Will I have a nonprofit by the end of the weekend?

Our goal is to complete the applicable foundation setup, planning, website, and available filing steps during the event. Government registration and IRS recognition depend on processing requirements and may remain pending after the weekend.

Will my nonprofit receive 501(c)(3) status in three days?

No. Participants can prepare and, where eligible, submit the appropriate IRS application during the event. The IRS determines whether and when tax-exempt recognition is granted.

Do you help with trust documents?

Yes, where a trust is an appropriate part of the participant’s selected structure. Trust formation and execution requirements depend on the jurisdiction and organization.

What if I need the full Form 1023?

Our team will identify the appropriate filing pathway. Complex full 1023 applications may require additional preparation, professional review, time, and fees.

Website & Deliverables

Is the website included?

Yes. Generals Equipped assists participants with building a professional nonprofit website using our standardized templates and agreed scope. Ongoing third-party website platform subscription expenses and domain registration are paid separately.

Do I need to know how to build a website?

No. Our implementation process guides participants through it.

Pricing & Additional Expenses

Are government fees included?

No. Government filing fees and other stated external costs are separate.

Are there additional expenses beyond the event registration?

Yes. Your event registration includes our live implementation experience, proprietary software access during the designated event period, organizational planning documents, nonprofit program development, branding assistance, and website-building guidance. However, you are responsible for applicable government filing fees and third-party expenses. These may include: • IRS Form 1023-EZ filing fee: $275. • IRS Full Form 1023 filing fee: $600. • Secretary of State nonprofit formation fee: varies by state. • Foundation trust notarization: approximately $50 for one trust. • Third-party website platform subscription: approximately $25/month, if needed. • Website domain: approximately $11–$15/year for a standard domain. You will only pay the IRS filing fee associated with the application appropriate for your organization. Your EIN is free when obtained directly from the IRS. Other optional expenses, such as certain notarizations, specialized legal services, premium domains, hosting, or additional state filings, may apply. These expenses are not included in event tuition.

Software & Post-Event Access

Will I need to pay $99 per month afterward?

Only if you choose to continue with the Nonprofit Growth Hub™ tools after the event. Ongoing access is optional, requires separate enrollment, and is never charged automatically.

Will you help me apply for grants?

Participants will develop grant-ready planning assets during the event. Grant discovery tools and additional application assistance are available through optional services after the event.
